After my last exhibit at Christine Klassen Gallery in May of 2022 – Nature of Reality – which was a lovely show with beautiful paintings, I realized that I wasn’t feeling the strength of connection to realism as much as I had been for so so very long. I didn’t really know how to go forward, so I started playing around in a sketchbook. I’ve now completed 6 of the first of my new series I’m calling Intersections/Integrations. They are Mixed Media works using primarily acrylics and collage, and whatever else takes my fancy. I have fallen back in love with playing with surfaces and textures so these are not as magical in a photo as they are in real life. They are now at Christine Klassen Gallery.
